Veteran’s Gala 2026
An Evening of Honour, Recognition, and Support

Join us for the inaugural Veteran’s Gala, a distinguished black-tie evening hosted by Zone 24 and Zone 25 Commands and their branches. This special event will help launch the Legion Centennial and Veterans’ Week, while also celebrating Brandon Legion Branch #003’s 100th Anniversary.
This memorable evening will honour a local Veteran and shine a light on the mental health challenges faced by Military members, RCMP, Veterans, and First Responders. Funds raised will support Project Resilience 911 and Paws 4 Valour, two local organizations providing programs and services free of charge to those they serve.

Major-General Chris McKenna
A highly decorated Royal Canadian Air Force leader and seasoned combat pilot, Major-General McKenna brings a wealth of operational experience from Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Mali. His leadership, service, and firsthand stories promise to make this an unforgettable evening.
